The Cheese Board Collective is a bakery, cheese shop, and pizza place in Berkeley, California (map). What they’re really known for is their pizza. They only make one type of pizza a day. Of course, different days have different pizzas, but on a single day there’s only one type of pizza. The pizza’s always vegetarian, uses fresh ingredients, and to me it’s always super good.
Before I forget, their website is https://cheeseboardcollective.coop. Their website lists the pizza of the day and their hours.
Anyway, the Cheese Board is separated into two parts: the pizza part and the bakery/cheese shop part. I mostly just go to the pizza part, but if you like cheese or bread, the other part is worth checking out as well.
Pizza
Cheese Board pizza has public outdoor seating, as well as indoor seating. They occasionally also have live music inside.
The line for Cheese Board can get pretty long, so I tend to try to get there close to when they start serving hot pizzas (which I think is generally around 5pm on weekdays).

Whole pizzas are something like $24 now (as of August 2023). Besides their pizza, my partner and I also like getting their green sauce (which is some kind of semi-spicy sauce made with… I dunno… basil or cilantro or something? I’m totally just guessing here so don’t quote me on it.). I also like getting their cookies, though they have gotten more expensive recently. It used to be like 2 for $2.50 and now it’s like 1 for $3. Their chocolate chip cookie is still pretty good though.

You can also get par-bake pizzas, which are partially baked which you finish baking at home. For some hours of the day, only par-bakes are available. I’ve gotten their par-bakes a few times and they’re pretty good and pretty easy to heat up.
Bakery/Cheese shop
The bakery and cheese shop are also good as well. I like getting some of their sourdough on occasion. Oh, and the bakery also has a cafe section. Sorry, I gotta add more photos here.
