Blind Pig bar in SF

Blind Pig is a “speakeasy” cocktail bar in Chinatown. It’s relatively new (as of 2023), located on the second floor of what used to be Cathay House restaurant.

Blind Pig is located on the second floor, where you see a sign for “Cathay House” on the corner of Grant and California. The entrance is on California.

The interior of Blind Pig. A lot of couches and a bar.
Some of the bar snacks. I think it was popcorn chicken, some kind of dumplings, and then I forget what the third thing was.

Two drinks and the menu

I liked Blind Pig. It kind of reminded me of cocktail bars in Shanghai, but just weirdly emptier. Then again, I went there on a Wednesday night.

I thought their drinks were interesting. They had some smoky cocktail that literally tasted like campfire smoke. One friend, though, has also gone to Blind Pig and thinks their cocktails are kinda weak. I’m not sure about that, but it’s possible.
